For my second ride I went to Ridgewood Park on Trammel Drive.

First I went to University Crossing Trail and this time only had to go up the small hill, because there is a bridge on top of the hill that goes over some railroad tracks.

I continued riding on the University Crossing trail. I came to a super downhill part which means on the way back I would have to go up it.

I kept riding on the trail across a bridge over Skillman Ave. to a place my dad calls The Badlands.

He calls it that because when you’er coming back it is slightly uphill for a long time and the wind is often against you.

At this point the trail name became the Ridgewood Trail. I rode the Ridgewood Trail the rest of the way to the park.

At the park they have a spray ground and a playground. I played on both the playground and spray ground.

One of the water sprays gave me a good back massage!

Then I rode to the front of the park to take a picture with the sign.

On the ride home I got good practice standing up while pedaling. Doing that makes you go faster and makes you go up hills more easily.

Standing up helped me get up at the big hill by the Skillman bridge on the way back.

Then I rode the rest of the way home.

I rode 4.87 miles in total.
